soft pastel on sanded paper
9 × 12”, framed to 15 x 18"
framed with double mats, high quality non-glare glass and a beautiful black wood frame
Those who travel the Rankin River, or visit the bridge above or below are witness to the voice of someone who wanted to be heard in some way, long ago. As I painted this I imagined the person who spent time under this bridge, close to where I stood and I wondered what they were thinking, feeling and what they may have wanted to say back then.
It was a beautiful morning for reflections, or all types.
