All prices are in Canadian dollars.
What are you shipping charges?
Shipping is complimentary throughout Canada. For information about shipping to destinations outside Canada, please see the question below.
Do you ship internationally?
Shipping is complimentary throughout Canada. I also ship internationally, with shipping charges varying according to the destination and artwork. International customers are kindly asked to contact me for a shipping quote before placing an online order.
Shipping to the United States is temporarily suspended due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding tariffs and cross-border shipping costs. I hope to resume shipping to U.S. customers when conditions become more predictable. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I pick up my artwork or arrange for local delivery?
Yes. Complimentary pickup from my studio in Oliphant, Ontario, is available by appointment.
I also offer complimentary personal delivery of framed pastel paintings within approximately 110 km of my studio. Please contact me in advance to make arrangements.
What are your shipping times?
Shipping will be completed within 5 business days of your purchase, but arrival times vary by location. If there will be an exception to our 5-day-to-ship policy, you will be contacted by the artist to make suitable arrangements. Once your original artwork has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
Can I order artwork for Chrimas delivery?
f you're purchasing artwork as a Christmas gift, I encourage you to order early. Shipping times can vary during the holiday season, so please contact me before ordering if you need your artwork by a particular date. I'll be happy to discuss the available options, although delivery by a specific date cannot be guaranteed.
What is your return policy?
I want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If your artwork arrives damaged, there has been an error with your order, or you simply change your mind, please contact me within five days of receiving your order.
If the artwork arrives damaged or an error has been made with your order, I will cover the return shipping costs. If you change your mind about your purchase, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
Please retain the original packaging and contact me before returning any artwork so that we can discuss the arrangements.
For change-of-mind returns, artwork must be returned in its original condition. Once I have received and inspected the returned artwork, I will issue a refund of the full purchase price, including any original shipping charges, to your original payment method.
Is your original artwork framed or unframed?
My original paintings may be offered framed or unframed. Each artwork's description clearly indicates whether the piece has been framed, or not, and that framing is included in the listed price. When framing is offered, you'll also find details about the frame and matting used or planned for the piece.
For my framed soft pastel paintings, I use beautiful non-reflective glass with UV protection. This glass allows the colours and delicate qualities of the pastel to be appreciated without distracting reflections. Once I began using it, there was no going back! I believe the exceptional presentation is well worth the additional expense. All framed original soft pastel paintings are protected under glass.
Original oil paintings on gallery-depth (1.5 - 2”) canvas or panels are generally offered unframed, with details about the treatment of the painting's edges included in the artwork description. When an oil painting is framed it is presented without glass.
Occasionally, I may decide to frame a painting that was previously offered unframed, perhaps in preparation for an exhibition. When this happens, I update the artwork description and price to reflect the framing.
Can you ship artwork that has been glazed with glass?
Soft pastel paintings that are framed under glass can be shipped, but I cannot guarantee that artwork framed under glass will arrive safely. If you happen to live in southern Ontario and wish to purchase a framed pastel painting I recommend you get in touch and we discuss the possibility of a delivery or pickup. I am able to deliver original artwork to locations within 110 km of my studio in Oliphant, ON at a mutually agreeable location. Please contact me to discuss.
Will my framed artwork be ready to hang?
All framed originals and framed or mounted prints will come ready to hang.
Can I frame my pastel painting by myself?
Unframed pastels should be taken to a professional framer experienced in handling and framing soft pastel artwork to ensure your artwork is safe during the framing process. Any touch to the surface of the painting will remove the pastel and smear the painting. They must be framed under glass for protection. Most experienced framers will use spacers, or mats to lift the glass off of the artwork. The need to this affects the depth of the rabbit required in the frame.
