I wanted to create a piece that captured the feeling of standing on the beach, watching the waves, hearing the sound of the lake rolling towards me and the gulls over head, searching for lunch. This is one of those pieces where I felt like I was there again as I painted it.... almost on top of those waves with the gulls. I hope it make you feel the same.
