Cloudscapes and Skyscapes
Having a view of the ‘big sky’ has always been with me as I have looked out over Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. These skies have dominated my life as much as the water and I find myself focusing on it more and more in my work. It’s moody and beautiful but can be wild and threatening. Living on the shore, the weather is always present in my life. The sky and clouds remind me that nature will always be in charge which is reassuring at the same time as it creates uncertainty in these times.
